Oral History

Stories have always been an important part of my life whether it was the stories my grandparents' told me or my mother reading to me. I loved being able to connect with people over a good story and I believe everyone has a story to tell. Whether its about their school, their work, or their family. Through an oral history interview I can capture those stories and memories for you so that you have them for many years to come.

I will conduct a series of interviews building rapport with the individual, then take those stories and combine them with your own images or sourced materials from the local archive. These will be presented in the form of a memory book along with all the recorded material. Please note all material will be kept confidential and shall not be shared with third parties without consent.

Capture your clubs' memories or relatives' memories for generations to come!

The Newson Farm East Luther Township

Hearing of cheap bush land to the west, Mr. Newson set out in search of a home and purchased lots 18 and 19 consisting of 200 acres on the third concession of Luther Township. Aided by George Todd and William Simpson, a shanty was built and ready when he brought his family in January 1857. - Through the Generations by Evelyn Beam MS Newson
